Centre for Healthcare and Community Research (CHeCR)
Transforming lives through high-quality healthcare and community research.
Welcome to the Centre for Healthcare and Community Research (CHeCR) at the University of Stirling. Our mission is to conduct impactful, interdisciplinary research that enhances healthcare practice, improves community well-being, and informs policy at local, national, and international levels.
Our research focuses on building a strong evidence base to improve frontline service delivery across unscheduled, emergency, primary, and secondary healthcare settings. Increasingly, we are also working within community environments and the digital sphere to enhance health and well-being while reducing the strain on healthcare services.
