Study at Forth Valley College and the University of Stirling

We offer courses which are taught in partnership with Forth Valley College, where you will spend the first two years at the College and the second two years at the University. This route combines the applied technical skills of Forth Valley College with the advanced academic expertise of Stirling. It results in a degree award from the University of Stirling.

BSc (Hons) Applied Biological Sciences

BA (Hons) Professional Education (Secondary) with Chemistry

This course is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in chemistry teaching, at secondary school level.  Taught in collaboration with Forth Valley College, students will spend two years at college studying modules from HND Applied Sciences or HND Applied Chemical Sciences before participating in two years of initial teacher education at the University of Stirling, alongside physics student teachers.  The course includes school placements to develop confidence and experience in a classroom environment.
