Entry and English language requirements

European Baccalaureate

The University welcomes applications from students studying towards the European Baccalaureate. Normally, applicants are required to obtain an overall score of between 60 - 70%, depending on the programme they are applying to.

International Baccalaureate

We welcome applications from students taking the full diploma with the overall points requirement depending on the programme. We may also stipulate certain HL subjects for some programmes. Further details can be found on our individual course pages.

English Language

If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of your English language skills. For a complete list of the English language qualifications we accept, including where we are able to waive an English condition based on certain local qualifications, please see our English Language Requirements.

For entry to our postgraduate courses the following qualifications are equivalent to a UK bachelor's degree:

The University requires applicants holding the Irish Leaving Certificate to have up to five subjects at Honour Levels at grades H2 or H3 depending on the programme of study. Turkey

Undergraduate

Direct Entry to 1st Year:

We welcome applications from students with the Devlet Lise Diplomasi. Students should have achieved a minimum of 80% overall in Grade 12, with 80% in relevant subjects.

Students with IB, A-Levels or the American High School Diploma can be considered for direct entry. Please see individual course pages for requirements.

We also welcome applications from students who have completed one year of university study in Turkey.

Postgraduate

We welcome applications from students holding Bachelor's degrees with a minimum of CGPA of 2.7/4.0 from a recognised university in Turkey.

English language requirements

Submission of IELTS and other recognised English language tests may be waived on a case by case basis, if the medium of instruction at previous study was in English and within the last five years. We require an official letter from your university or college. This waiver does not apply for courses that require higher than an IELTS 6.0.

Ukraine
