Accommodation for new undergraduate students

When it’s time to settle into life at the University of Stirling, we guarantee you a warm welcome. New undergraduates are given priority when we allocate our accommodation, and our dedicated team is on hand to help ensure you’re safe, happy and feeling right at home.

September 2023 accommodation availability

We have the following properties available for new undergraduate students in September 2023:

September 2023 accommodation guarantee

For new students starting in September 2023, we’ll guarantee you an offer of University-managed accommodation in your first year of study if you meet the eligibility criteria. All you need to do is confirm your place at Stirling and apply for accommodation within the timeframe we give you. As a first-year student, you'll normally be allocated a single study bedroom in a University residence. The University has 2,800 bed spaces, over 18 properties, and your accommodation may be located either on-campus or off-campus.

Nursing, Paramedic Science and Forth Valley College (integrated degree) students

Depending on what you're studying, you may start your course at a different time from other undergraduate students. You'll see the final dates of your contract period when you book your room, but most undergraduate contracts are for a period of 36 weeks. Forth Valley College (Integrated degree) students study for 42 weeks, and Nursing and Paramedic Science students study for 46 weeks. You may choose to stay longer and apply for one of our 51-week full year contracts.

For session 2023-24, accommodation available to new Nursing and Paramedic Science students is: 

  • John Forty's Court (from £99.53 per week, £4578.38 for the full contract period)
  • Riverside Quay (from £172.00 per week, £8772.00 for the full 51-week contract period)
  • Centro House (from £180 per week, £9180.00 for the full 51-week contract period)
  • Carters Yard (from £185.00 per week, £9435.00 for the full 51-week contract period) 

Accommodation available for Forth Valley College (integrated degree) students is: 

  • John Forty's Court (from £104.51 per week, £4389.42 for the full contract period)
  • Riverside Quay (from £172.00 per week, £8772.00 for the full 51-week contract period)
  • Centro House (from £180 per week, £9180.00 for the full 51-week contract period)
  • Carters Yard (from £185.00 per week, £9435.00 for the full 51-week contract period)
