Activ8

Activ8 is a new 8-week coaching programme, designed to help students build confidence, develop healthy habits and discover the joy of moving your body.

However, this isn’t just about exercising – it’s about creating a lifestyle that supports your physical and mental wellbeing, all while connecting with others in a supportive community.

Our programme blends face-to-face group sessions with personalised online support, so you get the best of both worlds in a safe and inclusive environment. You’ll walk away with the knowledge, skills, and habits to sustain your progress well beyond the programme and enjoy the long-term benefits of an active lifestyle.

Your path to confidence, community, and a healthier you

Many of us can feel overwhelmed by the thought of exercising or being in a gym environment and it can be tricky figuring out how to set (and stick to) fitness goals.

If this is you, don’t worry – you’re not alone. Many students feel this way and the University of Stirling Sport team is here to help.

How Activ8 can benefit you

Weekly online check-in and in-person group session

Stay accountable and receive personalised guidance from your coach through our Technogym app. These written check-ins allow you to reflect on your week, help you stay on track and find solutions to any barriers.

With our in-person group session, you'll meet like-minded people, learn new skills and build confidence in a safe environment.

Sessions run on the same day each week which you book through the University of Stirling Sport app. These are available to book once you have signed up for Activ8.
