Fraser's Story

During his four years at Stirling, Fraser launched his own consultancy business, set up as a private tutor and completed two internships.

The 22-year-old was inspired to study at Stirling by his high school business studies teacher. Having always been interested in sport, he supported his local golf club to develop a junior programme – earning him a university scholarship from a local manufacturing company.

Fraser said: “I immediately fell in love with the Stirling campus. I was also impressed with the Management School’s strong reputation and its small class sizes.”

Fraser used the knowledge learnt during his studies to start his own business providing advice to local companies. He said: “I was mainly providing a consultancy service to those in the golf industry but also ended up building three websites and opening a golf store on behalf of a client.”

Currently working as a marketing manager, Fraser is set to join a consultancy firm’s graduate scheme. He added: “I would describe my time at Stirling as enlightening, memorable and rewarding.”
