Your responsibility

The University and Students' Union work together to make sure our campus remains a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who studies, lives, works or visits here.

As a student or staff member, you have a responsibility to help minimise the health risks to yourself and our wider University and local community. We are asking everyone to commit to the Stirling Campus Pledge.

This is an important contribution that helps to protect your health, safety and wellbeing. It also shows consideration for the entire University of Stirling community and beyond.

Our priority is to help you remain safe and well and have an enjoyable experience at Stirling. Your commitment to this pledge is appreciated.

The Stirling Campus Pledge

By agreeing to this pledge, I will:

  • follow NHS Scotland and Scottish Government health information and advice;
  • maintain good hygiene by regularly washing and sanitising my hands, and correctly disposing of waste, such as tissues;
  • respect the health, wellbeing and comfort of everyone in our community, supporting others who may be clinically vulnerable;
  • follow the health and safety rules and guidance relating to the use of University Sports facilities and Students' Union clubs and societies I am a member of;
  • ensure I remain up-to-date with University communications and any changes to advice and guidance that is shared with me;
  • positively encourage other members of the University community to uphold the Stirling Campus Pledge.
