Placements can be physical or remote, with students actually working on their placement between mid-January and early April. Students only take one other taught module alongside the placement giving them plenty of time to devote to it.
Before students start their placement in January they must submit a project brief outlining the aims, scope, timelines and outputs from the project that has been discussed and agreed with their placement host. Students and hosts are expected to meet in November to start the discussion and development of this project brief.
